Last time I checked, GMI wasn't the one writing these articles. YAHOO wrote the article, not us. If a recall article mentions recalls world-wide for GM, it's going to get posted regardless.

If this were an American car company, you would see this as big news on TV but because it's Japanese you'll see nothing!

They're too old to be considered in the survey.

Well at TN there is a thread dedicated to the Tranny problems.
Here: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t128303.html A Member named SuperGoop is building a data base on this problem. Very interesting. No I have to disagree, people that own Toyota's are not in denial. I will also disagree on the Ban-Stick over there to what you said...well..unless it breaks the TOA...no different then any forum.

BTW: What does Chop-Chop mean?

EDIT: grrr..more typ0's

It's bias indeed. Some of these guys aren't quite grown up yet. Otherwise you wouldn't see them praising on negative things when come to their competition. It's OK to be confidence, but should never put down the competition to make one looks better. This will only show a lack of confidence on their parts. Its apply to all things in life in general.

Example;
A cup half empty vs. a cup half full. Which one would one chose?

Now back to the recall... I would have to give Honda credit for going forward to fix the problem even though its an older vehicles.

Oh brother!

If sports teams had this attitude every game would end in a tie...

It's competition..."us vs them"...right or wrong...I don't think it a such a bad thing...

I also hope you post such to those who cheer on GM's issues when their next recall comes to light...

No pun intended GMCSonoma. I will as I see it works both ways. My response was for people to be more open minded instead of praising on negative things just to put the competition down.

I agree with the sports teams analogy and competition, but don't you agree some of the statements toward other vehicle manufacturers are little over board?

Maybe when you have a larger presence at this site you can say we're not grown up for being happy over this, but in the meantime, no offense, but be quiet.

I agree in principle San...there are many who ARE overboard on BOTH sides of this...my point is IF it is against GM...it is OK...if it is against an import...the "balance seekers" are quick to point a finger and scream racism!
Sorry San....not in the car market...as far as 2 competing hospitals or schools, for example...Sure!

All people are prejudiced, racist or biased...sure it's taught...but to deny it altogether or accuse (not you San, but others) is sheer ignorance on their part...

Just because San has 66 posts doesn't mean he/she can't have an opinion...this is a DISCUSSION board...so we DISCUSS...OK?
IMO, SAn isn't trolling unlike others here...
Keep that in mind when you tell someone to be quiet...which I hope is not again...
