It never fails to amaze me how many people STILL feel that a Toyota is superior in quality to a GM product. I guess some people can't or won't swallow their pride.

Actually the safety foam has nothing to do with wearing a seatbelt. Your head won't hit the points that the safety foam is developed for in a rollover if you are wearing your belt. Plus, once the roof crushes, the headliner countermeasures that are developed for 201U are null and void. Structure and crash integration design take over.

Check out FMVSS201U. We launch a dummy head into the headliner. I think it is rediculous all of the safety standards we have to protect the idiots, but then again it's job security for me.
