Again you are bringing up your experience in FWD cars from 10 years ago.

We are talking about newer trucks. If GM trucks were such POS then no one would buy them

GM outsells Chrysler = GM builds a better truck.

Re: Chrysler recalls 600,000 Dodge trucks

GM outsells chrysler because they are a much bigger company and sell them under 2 different names, Ford outsells both GM brand combined, so I guess that means Ford builds the best and also, didn't the Tundra end up selling better than the Sierra, so does that make the much recalled Toyota a better truck than the Sierra?

Ford does not outsell GM. Ford outsells Chevy. Learn the difference.

Ford makes great trucks, personally I would take a F-150 over a Ram.

And why is GM so big? Maybe it is because they make lots of money selling trucks. Trucks that they could not sell if they were crappy.

Here is a clue. Go look out for snow plow trucks or fleet trucks and the like. They are all mostly Ford's and Chevys.

Now the govt cares only on price, reliability, and maintenence. Why are there so few Rams?

The Tundra is outselling the Sierra because of the huge incentives that Toyota is dumping on them, in some cases almost $7,000.00 dollars.

If GM dumped $7,000.00 on the hood, Sierra's would be outselling the Tundra.

Re: Chrysler recalls 600,000 Dodge trucks

Yes, and again GM sells their trucks under 2 nameplates, so they outsell the higher selling Chevy while the GMC is back there behind the Tundra, the Sierra and the Silverado are advertised as 2 different trucks under 2 different makes, so Ford still has the best truck by your comparison and the Tundra is better than the Sierra......

Read my post. Incentives are why the Tundra is outselling the Sierra.

Arguement is not about Ford, it is about Dodge. You are dodging the issues by pointing fingers elsewhere. I just so happen to see past that.

Question, who sells the most trucks?

Answer... GM.

Thank you.

Answer is Ford, they don't do sales by GM then everyone else, they do it by Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Toyota, Nissan. With the the top 3 are FORD then Chevy, then Dodge. The all build great trucks, your logic is VERY flawed.

Re: Chrysler recalls 600,000 Dodge trucks

And is not like GM isn't using incentives, 07 Silverado (and no, not the classic) has 3000 cash back or 0% financing for 60 months and same with the Sierra and the 08s already have rebates too 1000 or low financing rate.

Re: Chrysler recalls 600,000 Dodge trucks

Also according to Endmunds the cash back on the Tundra is only 3k for an 07, same as the Silverado/GMC though it is higher, 2k, for the 08s.

Are you dumb?

Read very slowly.

I said GM as a company outsells Ford. It does not matter how Motor Trend or C/D breaks down sales by nameplate.

My statement is true, GM sells more trucks.

But when you have to combine 2 makes to do it...... And is not just MT or C&D that is how sales are broke down PERIOD. Bsides your logic is still flawed, just because it sells more doesn't mean it's a better truck, hell, the Ram is the oldest design out there dating to 02 and the engines to 03 and it is STILL in the top 3 sellers.

If GMC did not exist, then by your logic GM would lose all the sales.

However, the only thing that differentiates the Chevy and the GMC are the front clip.

I am willing to bet that at least half of GMC customers would by a Chevy over a Dodge or Toyota or Nissan.

That in and of itself would put Chevy ahead.

We live in America. It's a free market. People can buy the best product for the best price.

The MAJORITY of american's think that GM does because they sell more trucks then anyone and they also own 70% of the SUV market.

SUVS by the way, that are built off the truck platform.

Re: Chrysler recalls 600,000 Dodge trucks

Still, the way it is now Chevrolet is outsold by Ford, I will not combine vehicles LOL that is like saying lets combine the Lacrosse, Grand Prix, and Impala or the Aura, Malibu, and G6 just so we can say GM has the best seller LOL. In any case, i am done here, LOL
