Acadia & Outlook Recall 07043A: Reprogramming of Airbag Module

Spoke with a GM employee tonight. The current Lambda twins are going to have an airbag recall. I have no further details, all I was told is that we should expect it soon.

Re: RUMOR: Lambda platform may have recall soon.

The beauty is that very few have been sold. While it stinks thats it on a new car (and such an important one), I would bet that very few units are out, so we can avoid a huge '1.5 million cars recalled' headline.

And while a recall looks bad, its always the RIGHT THING TO DO. Especially when it involves an airbag. I think less criticisim should be shown towards auto companies for this. I mean think about it, say someone scratches your car in a parking lot and leaves a note with their info, and someone else scratches it but dosent say anything. Both made a mistake, and one of the two you dont even know to be mad at, but the other fixed the mistake, making them the better person.

Same goes for auto companies. They all make mistakes, kudos to them for finding out and fixing the problem. (Even if it is TOYOHONDASSAN)

I'd rather have this than my suspension buckling.

Wouldn't surprise me that those are coming out now. But thankfully its not a huge recall.

Caleb02: Could you translate that to english bud, I have no idea what that meant.
