GM PARTS BULLETINS & INFORMATION - TO PONTIAC DEALERS
Subject:GMP06-266 - 06099 Product Enhancement for Inventory Vehicles Only Front Suspension Strut Leak - Expires February 28, 2007Message #:VSU20061343
  • DESCRIPTION:
    This bulletin provides a service procedure to replace both front suspension strusts on certain 2006 Pontiac GTO vehicles to prevent possible customer complaints about leaks.

    This service procedure should be completed on involved vehicles currently in Dealer inventory as soon as possible but no later than February 28, 2007, at which time this bulletin will expire.


    EFFECTIVE DATE:
    Involved VINS will be downloaded into GMVIS on 12/20/06.


    GENERAL INFORMATION:

    PARTS INFORMATION

    Parts required to complete this recall are to be obtained from General Motors Service and Parts Operations (GMSPO). Please refer to your "involved vehicles listing" before ordering parts. Normal orders should be placed on a DRO = Daily Replenishment Order. In an emergency situation, parts should be ordered on a CSO = Customer Special Order.
