Saturn is not equal to Pontiac, the Aura’s driving dynamics are said to be better than the similar G6, but the Aura is all go and no show, its too European for an American brand. I will admit, Nissan does very well with both the Altima and Maxima, but the Altima’s interior sucks, and the Maxima has that CVT transmission that in my mind, is completely undesirable. Mazda is pretty nice too, but they are more of a full lineup like Nissan. And VeeDub, well they are nice cars, but more along the lines of Buick. Besides, what is Pontiac anymore? Car?

EVERTHING that is a damn re-badge, tank it or steal it. Either give it to Chevy, or take it from Chevy, and let Pontiac have it. I vote for giving the re-badged stuff to Chevy. DO THAT AND THEN TAKE, AND KILL THE SATURN NAME, THROW THE PONTIAC NAME AND LOGO ON ALL THE SATURNS, AND CALL IT GOOD.
I sort of disagree with what you say, but its more of my own opinion. Pontiac isn’t worthless, it just isn’t what Pontiac stands for. The rebadges are necessary amongst the brands, but they can not be so obvious. I actually hope for a “Pontiac” cruze, but I want it to be had with a better suspension, at least one Pontiac original engine choice, a coupe version, sporty styling. I do however, agree with ditching Saturn, Pontiac should have received the Astra, the Aura is nice but needs to be sportier for Pontiac, the Vue isn’t necessary, nor are the Outlook or Sky. After the Solstice and Sky die, there is little left for Saturn anyways.

It's the re-birth of Pontiac, by killing Saturn. Could you imagine a Pontiac Solstice? Come on.......
