Re: This OnStar Critic is Silenced

I love OnStar...used it a ton this weekend at the AACA Fall Classics and Antique car meet in Hershey, PA. Got my Dad and I to the meet and back to the hotel every day, and also to places for food. It was great!

Apparently, this was not the Asheville Mall. It was fun (not) backing down a mountain road with no guardrail. On a trip to Dearborn, MI once, it worked perfectly, and adjusted quickly if I missed a turn.
Another case of Nav System reliance. All Nav systems will do that once in a while. I am sure there were many warning signs that a "remote mountain road" would not lead you to the mall. - Next time call a Sherpa

But I do agree that it occasionally will mess up. We all have to understand that any Nav system is at the mercy of the person entering the data.
