I think what you're talking about is old. But I'm sure a staff member here/"authority" will be along shortly to correct you.

Yeah, I'm done for a while. No use getting into it.

Re: GMI Public Service Announcement: Pre-Production Cars

Sorry for sounding like i'm on a soap box here for a minute but for whatever time this is that I had to repeat the same sentence that many members have said in the past The headlights on the current prototypes ARE NOT THE REAL HEADLIGHTS!!!!!. Sorry for the shouting but its really annoying when the GMI staff go through the trouble of addressing this issue and there are still comments about the headlights when its all said and done. the headlights on the current prototypes are just units that are put on there so the car can be street legal when they are undergoing tests.

Due to careful design, there has similarly yet to be a fully accurate picture of Ghrankenstein on GMI.

I don't claim to be special or anything; even though I -do- happen to have an IQ of well over one hundred...

If you are referring to my post, then please look up "sarcasm" in the dictionary and contemplate.

Re: GMI Public Service Announcement: Pre-Production Cars

Im glad you all seem to like this little blurb, but I hear it every time a preproduction car, especially from GM, is seen on the road. I remember CTS and Malibu getting ripped apart for the head and tail lights. The Camaro has become a larger problem because there are a lot of new pictures coming out of what looks to be a ready-to-go Camaro, but the headlights dont look right. While Im sure that a lot of people are thinking it when they first see the pictures, a simple disclaimer should be writen by the OP saying that these are not the real headlights. I do see where some people will want to know why, but several people over the course of a 5-8 page thread is just silly.

Turns out they were right about the Malibu, The headlights and taillights are horrible in production form.

[sarcasm]That's correct. The legislation is on its way through the House of Delegates as we speak. While the fine will be nominal for out of state drivers, for Virginians, it will be accompanied by a $3000 "administrative" fee, read, road abuser fee, that the judge cannot waive. I have it on very good authority, from a very close friend.[/sarcasm]

Re: GMI Public Service Announcement: Pre-Production Cars

Good post. Too many people (On this website and others) pass judgment on cars that aren't production ready. They all need to shut up and wait for the production model to be shown.
