Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, and Chrysler (The latter two for the most part) offer these features so why can't GM?

Re: GM Starting To Listen?

They don't offer them in a Malibu sector vehicle. No one wants to buy a $30,000 Malibu,

Don't get the product lines confused. There are upper divisions that offer those items. If you think this is BS, then help straighten out the "Brand MArketing" strategy that created this mess.

Acura is Handas upper level, and Lexus is Toyotas. Those options (Blueteeth, Blue hair, NAV etc.) are available there. Not in a Corolla.

Isn't GM trying to to DE-proliferate their parts bins? And you're asking for more options and parts? WTH?

Wouldn't it be time better spent to sort out why GM has two V-6 engines available for ONE vehicle?

Are the customers that get their free year of the OnStar renewing their subscriptions? I had read that the majority were not.

That speaks volumes about focus.

Re: GM Starting To Listen?

Nav is available in a Mazda3 or Honda Civic, and Bluetooth is available in a Nissan Versa. As is keyless access/ignitiion.

Everyone doesn't use GM's failed strategy where quality materials and high-tech features are restricted to premium brand large cars.

I like built-in NAV. It's cool, and who wants stuff (Garmins, etc.) tacked all over their dash?

Go to Edmund's, MSN, yahoo, and other online websites where car customers review their cars. You will see enough people spend money on $30k on Camry's, Accords, and Altima's. So even though it won't be the majority enough people will spend that kind on a Malibu to get it loaded with those options. Plenty of people to warrant the options. It does cost much for GM to just get some extra nav units from other cars and tailor it to fit in the Malibu. The Bluetooth same deal.

A Corolla is more on par with the Cobalt thats why it doesn't offer it as of now. But probably in the future it will be an option since its competition the Civic and Mazda 3 offer that feature. Don't be surprised to see push button start and similar options on the Corolla of the future.

BTW, to me the Corolla is poorly equipped compared to the competition as of now.

Tell me about it. Then one day you are driving the mount comes lose, you slam on the brakes, and it ends up smacking you or one of your passengers in the head or in the back seat in a million pieces. Thats $300-$800 down the drain.
