The most popular Mercedes C-Class in Europe is the C220 CDI (170-hp). It has a top speed well past 125 mph, but oh no, 0-60 takes about 9 seconds! Oh my God that's "so slow"!
The most popular E-Class is the E220 CDI (170-hp) as well. Car and Driver would have a field day bashing it since a 450-hp V8 SUV is so much quicker to 60...
S-Class? The S320 CDI (224-hp, 376 lb/ft) takes the cake for the most popular S-Class here followed by the S350.

I did notice that, MANY people have the smaller engines (when I asked what was in them). Also a LOT of people utilize the "Badge Delete" option (or at least my family does) so know one knows WHAT model of BMW or MB they are driving on the road (and thus don't know the Engine size!)
