overheating allison trans

i have an 06 3500 srw duramax with 15000 miles has over heated twice . once pulling 9,ooo lb fifth wheel, once empty. dealer does not have any idea what to do .my problem is i cant take the family camping for fear of getting stuck spending it on the side of the road.

Hey the Torq Shift hasn't been with out troubles as well, early 2006's with snowplows can answer that question in thierself's.

Let the owners speak, it may help GM determine a problem and fix it.

The last GM shop that I worked at, after the buy out/merger in our town, looked at warranty work as if they were spending thier own money. I didn't understand it, if you keep up on training and tools, the labour rate is quite good.

I mean with the products today, warranty is down to 20% of our shop's income,. When I started the business warranty was running close to 50% shop income.
