Angry over charge

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra. I noticed that when I had the fan on high I could smell something burning. Finally the fan quit and I discovered that the module and connector burned beyond repair. I went to the dealer and bought a replacement. The module was 74 dollars and the small connector which plugs into the module was 97.50. Also the dealer told me the parts were failing left and right. I called GM and they told me to bring the truck in and have it pluged in to test it and it would cost an additional 370 dollars. Something is wrong with this picture.

Re: over charge

Gm must be really proud of that pigtail wire for that price. Here is a better price. If it's the same part/problem you had.

Good god, what is going on here. I have replaced several blower resistors and pigtails, and a few blower motors but nowhere near prices like that. My friggin heart cant take this crap anymore....no wonder I'm losing my hair.....
