Dodge Charger, they are both owned by the same group as GM.

So you're telling us that nobody really likes Pontiac, and that there aren't GTO, Trans Am and Firehawk fanatics?

Chevrolet plans to unveil RWD Police car on Monday

come this Monday, there's a chance that Chevy will offer just the car you're looking for (counting that it isn't just a Camaro, and that you can talk your dealer's fleet manager to sell you one)

I really like the CTS and GM did a terrific job on it. I have a reason that is personal not to drive a Cadillac.

Anyway to answer the OP's question...Get a Corvette, or a Camaro. You are SOL if you want non Cadillac RWD unless you want a big, heavy and useless BOF SUV.
lol wut?

I suppose the Firebird/Trans Am is chopped liver?

Odd...you like the car, looks good, but for personal reasons you wont.
I hope its not an "age" issue.

To answer your question, there is none. Unless GM reverses its position on the G8's return to the US as a Chevy or Buick, you are going elsewhere.
Charger and 300 are the only other RWD American cars available that arent sports cars.
The rest, you are looking at BMW, Infiniti, or MB. Thats it.
Audi is AWD. Acura is FWD/AWD. Lexus..its RWD, but...really?

Aw come on BigAl, the IS are nifty...

I'm not a huge Cadillac fan either, but I'd take a CTS.
RWD is just not widely supported anymore. If you like RWD, best accept either older vehicles, luxury lines, or pickups.

IS isnt bad, but I dont see any reason to buy one of them over a G37 or 3 series.

I'm with you there. IMO Lexus has dropped the ball on the IS and focused too much on the RX yak wagons.
The G37 is good, I like the coupe, but 3-series are getting better each year.

LWB Zeta Chevy sedan may be another option, but that will take a while to come though.

I dont think that teh G37 has the quality to just yet match the germans, but out of all the up and coming luxury brands, it has the best plan.

my other bit of advice is to watch police auctions for dodge charger police cars in a few years. It'll probably have the same cult following as cars like the 9c1 caprice and police spec crown victoria and you can get them for dirt cheap (though you will have to contend with high mileage) if you can't wait that long though go for a police spec victoria (the ones i saw at the police auction i was at last time were pretty reasonable in price)

Wow. I hadn't even considered that it might be a Camaro. I just assumed it was a Holden.
