2006 Uplander ABS lite

I need help with 2006 uplander. Taken to the dealer 6 times. The abs lite is on... The computer doesn't store the code. For two months I had a GM service tool hooked to my computer. The lite was coming on. And again no code stored. What could be the problem. The dealer is at a lost.. Thank you for any help you could offer..

Re: 2006 Uplander ABS lite

The light can come on if an abs sensor is faulty on one of the wheels. I assumed they checked that?

Others will chime in with more experience.

Yes they check and replaced the sensors. The lite still comes on. When you start the car the lite comes on. It doesn't matter if you drive 10 miles or a 100 miles the lite will stay on. It goes out when you shut the car off. It willn't come on the rest of the day. You can use the car for 4 or more days with no lite coming on. Then the lite will come on. Taken car to dealer with lite on. Doesn't store the codes. Dealer is very puzzled..Car must have some electrical problem. Thanks for your help.

I don't have an answer, but I have a 2005 with the exact same ABS light history! I can also add a "possessed" power sliding door to my list and a weak starter! The door either opens at odd times or the bell just goes off constantly (making me feel possessed)! Boy was this a dissappointment from GM!!!
