Next Honda Civic will be delayed
Looks like GM is not the only one delaying small cars...
---------- MICHAEL BETTENCOURT From Thursday's Globe and Mail Published on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 12:00AM EDT Deep concerns in Japan that the global credit crisis structurally shifted the market in North America towards smaller and less-expensive vehicles led Honda to make major changes in its product plans late last year, likely delaying the arrival of the new Civic past its usual four- or five-year product cycle. Honda CEO Takanobu Ito didn't provide a time frame for when the next-generation Civic would arrive, but told trade journal Automotive News that the team is having trouble meeting the revised deadlines. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/auto/...rticle1343135/ |

Re: Next Honda Civic will be delayed
It doesn't matter when it arrives, Consumer Reports already recommends it as a top pick.

Re: Next Honda Civic will be delayed
Except the civic is at the top of the class as far as affordable small cars go. The cobalt is WAY behind.
