The new production-spec Honda Pilot out

Well, it's finally visible now.

Just like expected, exactly the "concept" vehicle but with slighter smaller production wheels, some more typical interior coloring, and that's about it. Looks decent enough, just bland and boxy as could BE and with a bizarre nose--again, all direct from the largely production-spec concept:

it brings back memories of the pilot concept. It looked awful then and it still looks awful now

The current Pilot is bland and boring. This thing is just hideous! That grill is horrible!

Honda interiors are all cheap (except for the accord), the civic interior for example is garbage.

Put a thumb over the grill and it's a Mazda Tribute.

Re: The new production-spec Honda Pilot out

Honda sure is quick about stealing new grille ideas. That thing screams Ford Explorer America Concept up front or what?

Re: The new production-spec Honda Pilot out

There is nothing really groundbreaking about it (on the outside), except for the grill. And I'm not sure that's a good thing. The inside is just out of this world.

Man, that is absolutely beautiful.
Honda should make 50K of these puppies up front just to make sure there's plenty to sell.
Yeah, 50K up front because these babies are going to drive themselves off the lot.
And raise the msrp $5K because these babies are worth every penny.
That Honda insignia is a magical thing, it is.

My eyes! My eyes!

First the hideous Element, then those Acura grills, and now this. What monster is designing things at Honda!

Just checked out the inside. Oh man. I know where GM's old interior design team went.
