There isn't a photo of the next-gen Prius in the article. It says it wil longer and wider, but still look like a Prius.

I hope that GM will show a running volt prototype at Detroit 09.

Psshhh. So instead of a little gerbil, it'll look like a long and fat gerbil. Awesome.

Re: New Prius

I wonder what maintenance costs are like and how well I might expect one's value to hold up. It's on my used car list right now even though I'm afraid I would kick my own ass--I've never seen a Prius driver I would "want to have a beer with" and I've never met a hybrid owner that I feel is being honest about their vehicle.

Personally, I don't think the Prius is a bad looking car.

Wow, is that a concept? That's got to be a concept. It's ugly, but better.

I love the Concept X and hope it is an accurate preview of the next Prius.

Re: New Prius

Definitely a concept, Toyota is way too conservative to put that thing on the road. The battle between the Volt and the Prius will be an interesting one........if GM ever gets the Volt on the road that is
