Re: Acura NSX Tribute

Here's an otherwise stock NSX with an HP Performance Turbo installed @ 15psi out running a T67 Supra @ 16psi. Interesting thing is this car has 138,000 miles on the engine and transmission. The only thing not stock is the clutch.

Here's the above car at the track. Gotta love the music...

Nice and very clean NSX. The new NSX concept looks awesome and very exotic in my eyes. Thanks for the info!

Re: Honda/Acura appreciation thread

Well I like that ....

A) they never tried to put anyone out of business they just opened shop like the sushi guy on the corner, trying to make a living.

B) I like that their cars are light, good MPG, handle very good for FWD cars

C) I like their interiors, very comfortable seats and very nice and ergonomic interiors, with good quality materials.

D) YOU CAN GET A MANUAL IN ALMOST ANYTHING!!! out of all their vehicles 95% of their portfolio is manual option-able

E) I like their ease of ownership, the owners link scenario all tied in together with the finance, and maintenance etc etc

F) Their reliability is great their engines are great

G) Awesome residual value, for either trade in or lease best in the business.

H) They don't pretend to be anyone else do their own thing and don't bother no one.

I have only owned two non american cars in my life, one a nissan 350Z which I returned in 7 months and another my Honda Civic. I like everything about my Civic and Honda so far. Nissan ehh

Re: Toyota/Lexus appreciation thread.

Hmmm... Only thing that I appreciate is making a car cheap enough, and economical enough so that my dads fiance would buy an '05 Corolla, so I can learn to drive in it.

Re: Toyota/Lexus appreciation thread.

I loved the Supra!!!! Car was badass especially in twin turbo guise!!! Lexus except for the IS-F, LS430 doesnt do a damn thing for me. The only toyota model that has even piqued my interest in years is the new TF-86. They are my least favorite asian car company.

1-Honda/Acura
2-Nissan/Infiniti
3-Hyundai-Kia
4-Suburu
5-Suzuki, toyota

Their declining stock price is definitely a plus.

Re: Honda/Acura appreciation thread

My Ohio-built 1987 Honda Accord went for 250K+ miles with no major repairs, until it was runover by a garbage truck. (I'm of those people GMI hates )

I think any auto enthusiast can appreciate Honda as a very engineering-oriented company with a soft-sell marketing approach, even if the cars aren't for you.
