JDM Goodness: Subaru Legacy STI S402

Subaru is taunting us again with yet another limited-edition model that we'll likely never see Stateside. The Legacy STI S402 will be limited to (appropriately) 402 units in both sedan and wagon trim, featuring the STI's turbocharged, 2.5-liter flat-four...

Love those BBS RE. They are roughly 400$/piece.

Re: JDM Goodness: Subaru Legacy STI S402

I'd most definitely buy one, if available. Wagon, please.

I was quite disappointed when I found out the Legacy wagon was being discontinued in the US. I was hoping I could upgrade to a brand new GT/manual trans in black someday. I guess Saab MIGHT come to my rescue with a 9-3/9-5 Sportcombi Aero w/ XWD

Re: JDM Goodness: Subaru Legacy STI S402

I'm very pissed off that none of the 402 examples will come stateside. It'd be on the top of my "so want list". especially the wgn, since the states don't understand wgns anymore. at least japanparts.com will let us buy off accesories only found in japanese and world markets...

Re: JDM Goodness: Subaru Legacy STI S402

It would easily spank a 9-3 Aero Sportcombi. And probably a Hemi Magnum. And would probably give an SRT8 Magnum a hard time

We. Need. More. Wagons. PLEASE

That is one badass example.....love to see how it would do vis-a-vis some of the Euro Brands.....(Audi/M-B especially....)

Bingo, SUV's are becoming tiresome.....and too expensive to fill up! Wagons offer better fuel economy and Sube's version looks friggin cool! My next car will be an '09 Legacy Wagon .....looks like I'll have to settle for a model below the 402...
