Hyunadi Posts Record March Sales

Korea's Hyundai Motor America posted sales of 40,063 vehicles, a new record for the month and an 11% rise from a year ago. Sales of Sonata, recently tabbed as the most reliable vehicle on the road by Consumer Reports, hit an all-time monthly record of 11,373 units. |

Wow! That's an annual sales rate of 480,756 units.
Note: American production of the Sonata started on 03/28/05. GM better pay attention to Hyundai. It's getting a little scary here. |

The Accent, Sonata and XG350 replacement(Azera) are all being updated with new models this year so they can probably expect this trend to continue. |
