GTR beats 911 turbo at Rockingham

Its cool that the new GTR beat the Porsche TT but its not that big a deal.

Last year the 50 thousand dollar 2007 C6 Z51 400hp coupe beat the Porsche too...

Thanks for the video link and I guess porshe needs to add DSG to its aresnal for the 911 sooner rather than later..

DSG is seemed to be worth a second on the last road and track test of the two EVo X's.

I would like to see all three cars at VIR to see what's what for the lightning lap. Hopefully Car and Driver can make that happen.

Wasn't that the car and driver test or something? IIRC, it was a C6 beating a Porsche 911 GT3 that was in the same class as the Z06, then the 911 turbo was running around the same time as the other Porsche and the Z06 beat the hell out of the 911 turbo time at Virginia.

You were right though, the Z51 Vette that was tested ran faster than the Porsche Turbo.
