z06 needs to be taken back to the ring with a better driver, I believe it can up the ante in its improved 2008 version. GM should not pit the ZR1 aganist the GT R..
Plus we know to the quater mile the Z06 leaves the GT R in the dust easily

Good for Nissan........Lexus really needs to get on the ball and go to town with their LF-A.......with the ZR1 & GT-R about to hit market, what are they waiting for???

Or maybe they should just hire you as a spokesperson seeing how your face is stuck so far up Bugatti and Ferrari engineers' arses.

How is the GT-R doing it? VERY good design and spectacular engineering. The separated transmission is very well thought out.

Even the Z06 will have higher top speed and better upper range (100+mph) acceleration than the GT-R. And the ZR-1 even more so. But if you're like and enjoy DRIVING and not just silly drag races, then it's doubtful anything else will come close to the GT-R on a tight handling road. If you've ever driven a boosted Mitsu Evo, you'll know what an AWD high performance car can do on the curves. It's like driving a very very quick go kart and almost unbelievable that a car can do that. Imagine an insane roller coaster ride with you screaming your head off. That's what driving a modified Mitsu Evo is. You'll never come close to the car's handling potential unless you're a very, very, very good and ballsy driver. I'm willing to bet that the GT-R is similar in it's handling.

Plus, the ZR-1's competition is not the GT-R, it is the GT-R Evo or Spec V editions.

Why? 7:32 as Porsche claims. Semi-slicks, driven by Walter Rohrl.

At a starting price of $192,000, it is a little hard to forget.
