Re: Future models

Nice, but too far into the future to take seriously.

The Wankel rotary engine has a lot of nice characteristics, but it's never been good for fuel economy. Mazda will need to work a miracle to come up with a new RX-7 that delivers V6 performance without also providing V12 fuel economy.

Being only 1.3 liters it gets around some EURO size taxes.

The jag is stunning. Ford has let a gem of a brand get away. Its like Jeep, if you just keep the focus it has its followers and it will make money. BMW is the only company i think that consistently does that.

Re: Future models

That RX-7 is freakin' gorgeous! I hope that is accurate...though I WAS hoping for more influence from the Nagare concepts.

Perhaps the best diagnosis I've read.

The Jag XF will probably look different - Jag's sports car line won't share that much on the outside with the sedans.

i share your thoughts
i think it will be more radical, more characteristic as an overall design, it wont be only a tendency. with the XF something has started in Jaguar's philosophy.
