Full Test: 2009 Acura TSX

What Works:
Superb front seats; integration of in-car technology into a simple interface.
What Needs Work:
Un-Honda feel to the electric steering; poor braking performance; unimpressive driving dynamics; not much engine torque.
Bottom Line:
A more relaxed and sophisticated commuter device than the original TSX, but it no longer makes the cut as a driver's car.

Great. First they do something to piss off the designers, and we get the abomination that is the new car, then they go and "American-ize" all the good stuff from the last car right out of the thing. I still like the 1st gen TSX really well and wouldn't mind picking up a slightly used one in a few years. Acura and Honda both have got to wake up their designers. Everything they've been coming up with lately is pathetic. They still do exceptional interiors, at least.

Honda thinks that techno gadgets can replace a car. WRONG. They will learn it hard way.

The "what needs work part" is what is the most important part of the car to me. I guess I don't need to waste any time looking at one of these. And to think I have complimented this car in the past.
