hey thanks for that first look....I love it! Now I see why they said it would be inspired design wise by the Clarity.....I like the front even better. Seeing that CRZ (CRX?) in back makes me hopeful they will build that hot pocket rocket too.

Pretty bland looking. But if it delivers good fuel economy at a good price, who cares?

I'm just really, really hoping Volt comes out on time with the promised specs, so that GM steals the "greenie" spotlight and gets massive sales instead of the latest Japanese hybrids.

Agreed on all respects. GM sure needs the Volt to be what it is hyped up to be, and I think they may do it.

Very handsome, actually. The upper body is an almost direct copy of the Prius, yes. But the aerodynamics required to achieve stellar mileage figures call for a highly arched roof line. It seems we'll see something not entirely dis similar with the Volt.

What saves this Honda design is the wheels, or rather their size. They appear to be much larger than those fitted normally on the Prius. and this more than anything else makes this Honda much better looking.

Coupe in the back, and don't even the front 2 cars look a little different? Especially the front end?

Nice Honda Prius. I wish GM had something to compete. The Volt would make the Insight and Prius obsolete if only it didn't cost so much. Hopefully they can get the cost down VERY quickly.

It is shaped like a Prius because of aerodynamics.

I won't be surprised if the Volt has a similar silhouette.

Ugh, I really hate the way that these look. The Volt is different, it doesn't look like a prius, just like this honda does...

I would much prefer to see something along the lines of the FCX (red in the middle) adopt the hybrid system of the Insight.

It would also be pretty cool to see something like the CRZ to come out, just something a little different from the Insight and Prius clones...
