So, we can expect -- other things notwithstanding -- that the CCX most certainly out-corners the street-intended sportscars in the EVO test.
Who tought you physics?

- weight has nothing to do with grip
- power has nothing to do with grip

Grip depend mostly on tires and amount of downforce.

CCX runs on Michelin PS2 tires - good summer rubber, but can't touch Michelin Cup semi-slicks, let alone racing slicks.
Also, there is simply no way for CCX to generate more downforce than Viper race car.

So again, race-car on slicks - 1.15g, sweden street-car on summer tires - 1.30g? Biggest BS ever heard from car mfr.

Admit it. EVO shows tremendous bias by having clumsier or more inept cars come in ahead of the CCX, which immediately invalidates the EVO test result.
Swedens aren't particularly known for supercars, I kind of doubt they can run with the best. If the CCX had a problem with downforce - it wouldn't do well on EVO track.
Stig from TG says it does have that problem and without the spoiler car sucks on the track. But spoiler reduces top-speed and acceleration. Most likely EVO tested CCX without spoiler.

I think we found the source of EVO's bias and it's in this quote of yours:

"Swedens aren't known for supercars, thus it's highly improbable Sweden will make a supercar that can get supercar numbers" is your reasoning and reasoning that's certainly shared with EVO, hence we have the explination why EVO had the CCX come in later than the Audi R8.
THe only problem with this observation I made is that Japan isn't known for supercars, yet EVO had the GT-R finish pretty well. Could it be that EVO had the GT-R finish this high because if they didn't, their readership would wonder why everyone else is getting great results from the GT-R?

Anyway. Weight and power have a lot to do with cornering. A Porsche Carrera GT with a lead frame and two missing spark plugs still has the same tires and the same downforce, but will get beaten by a Honda Accord around the track.

"The CCX can't be a high-performance car because it comes from Sweden..." Come on, now!
