Beijing Preview: FAW's upcoming B50

Well here is the answer from FAW (First Automobile Works) for Roewe 550, and other sedan from the local Chinese company.

Its internal code name was B131 and it's based on the same platform as the old mazda 6, but now its official name would be B50, kind of weird, and myself is confused too, anyway here is some pictures

Re-host them here: http://community.webshots.com/album/...munity&start=0

One of the better looking Chinese automobiles I have seen. Looks a lot like a Hyundai to me. If these were marketed here and there was a significant price difference compared to other mid size cars I bet they would sell a lot of them.

Not bad.

Pretty stylish and bold for a midsize family sedan, actually.

Is this replacing the Besturn???

I thought that was a rather interesting-looking car. Looked more "together" than this one too...

Looks like a mix of Scion and Nissan. Traditional bland Asian car. Blech.

It looks OK, seems to be built solidly from what I can see.

I don't usually wave the, "that's a rip off of this" flag, often. But my first thoughts upon seeing this...
- Front looks like a Nissan
- Side looks like an Acura TL
- Rear looks Ion. Just look at those tails-lights.
