2010 Toyota 4Runner on the Rubicon

http://www.fourwheeler.com/roadtests...ail/index.html

"If you want to run the Rubicon, you can expect damage. It's a given and we all know it. Heck, we saw a number of broken rigs on this trip, and we've damaged our modified project rigs and personal vehicles on the Rubicon. Interestingly, the stock 4Runners fared very well. At no time did they suffer driveline damage or systems failure. Body damage was very light. We inspected the rigs and found what we expected: toasted mud flaps, wrinkled skidplates, and dented mufflers. This was all predictable, especially considering these rigs were stock height. Yep, we were impressed by the new 4Runner Trail."

Damn I wish GM would compete in this segment. It sure would be nice to have a Chevy Blazer based off of the H3 Alpha.

Yea....I'm a little saddened. The 360s are dead and Hummer is dead (to me)

GMC should make 4Runner fighters.

Of course, that would keep GMC relevant, and we can't have that.

I've always been a Chevy man but I think it would be smart to differentiate GMC with a H3 Alpha based 4Runner fighter, H3T based truck (not just a crew cab long bed version), and a H4 based Jeep competitor.

Gm is not competing in a lot of classes.
They will take at least 1o years of profitability to fill their entire pipeline again.

I still can't believe they're going to offer that 4-cylinder/4-speed combination. Those can't sell, can they?

^^2WD only. Surprsingly it makes slightly better fuel economy than the 6cyl.

It's not "I cant believe they're making a 4Cyl 4Runner," but instead its, "I can't believe the person that'd buy the 4cyl 4Runner.."
