2008 Accord -- Interior Spyshot

As expected, it has the "spaceship" vibe of most other recent Honda interiors.

Looks decent, IMHO.

Also, I like what I see between the parking brake and the console/dash storage cavity... (not that it will matter to most Americans, but personally this alone is reason enough for me to never ever consider buying a Malibu.)

Looks decent, it resembles the Civic a bit too much IMO, and it doesnt really flow. They should have just taken the design of the old one and modernized it. This one's all over the place.

I just don't like that design, the large storage space under the radio bothers me A LOT. The shapes do to, Honda always uses goofy shapes.

Techno jukebox, ahoy! Actually I get a Mazda vibe from those controls. Nice door panels and steering wheel. Though it looks odd from this angle, the placement of the navigation looks spot on. I'd say very good interior.

Interior looks like "Acura meets BMW".

Personally, I like the '08 malibu better. I can't deal with Honda's button spam. Accord interiors reached their peak in the 1997-2002 models and have gotten steadily worse since. That old one was the model of simplicity.

Re: 2008 Accord -- Interior Spyshot

I hate it. It's as if the designers for the exterior are in their 80's and the interior is done up by people in their 20's. Doesn't mesh well IMO.

My has Honda's interiors gone down! Looks like there's tons of plastic everywhere on the dash, etc. It's got those old style vents and tons of buttons. Shocking, really.

Why yes, yes it is pretty funny..

I Think Honda is starting to use these two-tier dashes for information to be more easily displayed to the user (closer to eye level). I can't say I am for or against it, but it doesn't hurt.

Re: 2008 Accord -- Interior Spyshot

That reminds me of a fancied up 1990's GM interior. Blah gauges, blah vents, blah materials (that is an awful lot of plain plastic for a modern interior...), and lots of lines!
