Tough times are ahead. A brand new car is not in the cards. My new (to me) 16 year old Accord serves the purpose extremely well. And it's paid off!

Oh man. First, news about the 2007 Tundra, and now the 07 Camry? I'm exploding with excitement. Although, I found it weird they used duct-tape to cover up the car.

Nope, nothing out of the ordinary there.

Looks like those big-screen spy shots from months ago were spot-on.

Never appealed to me.

Note dual exhaust.

Because they would get in trouble. They were probably able to get a picture of the badge because nobody was watching.

awesome. note the camry lettering in the back is much more itallic then the current one hinting of the next gens more sportier nature.

Re: 2007 Toyota Camry News: New Spy Shots

it seems nice, I think it will be a lot nicer than the previous gen but it doesn't seem like it will be a sporty sedan, I hope the actual quality this time will match the perceived quality. JD Power ratings show the opposite of what people think, but I hope that will be corrected with the 07. I hope they dump the 3.0L V6, use the 3.3L 210 (I hope it's more) HP and keep the 2.4L L4 and they'll have a winner on their hands.

Re: 2007 Toyota Camry News: New Spy Shots

I don't see much stopping this car. The Sonata can hopefully make a dent, and the Impala will make incremental steps, but Americans love the Camry and there's no apparent reason for them to stop with this generation.

Re: 2007 Toyota Camry News: New Spy Shots

From what I see so far, it looks very nice. I like the Camry lettering in the back as it gives the car a little more sizzle than the current one. The back lights look very nice as well.

I think Toyota is starting to hit the next level - one where style and sizzle combined with quality and reputation will make it even harder to compete against.

Even better. Detuned 3.5L from the Avalon, and an updated 2.4L to increase power and fuel efficiency.
