I think it looks a lot better than the current one.

Re: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan!

Cleans up the old aesthetic quite nicely, especially inside. But with comparatively revolutionist competitors either already here or on the way, I have to wonder if this new G will end up lost in the crowd.

Re: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan!

...and they call this a brand new design. Its a rounded off current generation G35. Its another midlife update. Breaks no new ground stylistically and Im sure to the average person they wouldnt even tell which one is new and which one is old. Truely disappointed. 3-series, IS, A4, and the new CTS will eat this thing up.

Only thing I see so far that will keep it alive is that it will probably have a nice powerplant.

It's a great car before the refresh, so I don't think they have to worry.

Re: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan!

Underwhelmed. I had high expectations and it didn't live up to it. I see the changes, but it doesn't look like a redesigned vehicle. Despite that, it looks good.

It is surprising that Lexus has the new radical product.

Tough times are ahead. A brand new car is not in the cards. My new (to me) 16 year old Accord serves the purpose extremely well. And it's paid off!

Re: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan!

Not bad, starting to look like an M35/45 like others mentioned, but, is it me, or has the car started to look "droopy". Kind of like the front and the back of the vehicle are sagging?

Re: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan!

I think it's a very nice update to a vehicle that was starting to look pretty stagnant. It's not nearly as evolutionary as it's being made out to be. This looks very nice, especially considering the G just got a refresh not too long ago. I'd definitely consider one.

it looks like they blobbified the current car.

IT does appear sportier looking than the current one though.

Yeah, blobbified is the word, but I actually like it. Much more than the evil Lexoids. And additional 10 points for Nissan for borrowing the great dash from M.

Re: 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan!

don't mess with success (2nd or maybe 3rd best selling car in its class IIRC)... stiffer chassis, even stronger engine, slightly restyled... sounds good. need exact hp/trq/weight numbers to see how it'll do against the IS350 and 335i, but it should at least keep up just fine, if not flat out win. interior looks nice, hopefully it's as high quality as the M is. should still be way cheaper than it's main competition as well... especially with the M35 over it to keep a price cap on it.
