2007 Hyundai Tiburon
Has anyone had any experience with this vehicle or past year Tiburons. As I have stated earlier, it's getting very close to the time when I need to purchase a car. One of my close friends works at a Hyundai dealership, and I am hoping I can get a great deal on one, other wise I have to use my GM card points. So has anyone had any feedback on the Tiburon. It looks like a solid package.

I used to have a coworker with an '05 Tiburon. Other than going through 4 radios in its first year it was fine. Stupid cd player kept breaking for some reason.

Re: 2007 Hyundai Tiburon
If you are going get a Tiburon, research and see whether the i4 or the v6 fits your needs. I remember people complaining the v6's unexpectedly high gas milage a couple of years ago.

Tiburon is a cool car. Why I have no experience with it, it looks great, so buy one. Better a Hyundai than a Toyota, if you're going Asian.

Re: 2007 Hyundai Tiburon
My cousin owns a 2003 Tiburon. It has been very solid and reliable. He drives the car a lot and the hatchback comes in handy for almost anything he needs to carry.
From personal experience driving it: It feels and drives bigger than it is. The turning radius is similar to my old Avenger, which is more like a sedan and less like a small coupe. The V6 has very good pep and fuel economy hovers around 20 MPG with the V6. The ride is sporty and pretty hard, but not unbearable. The interior panels/switchgear look and feel great. I love the snug feel of the seats although bigger people may not like them. Fit and finish inside and out are very good. If you can swing for the leather...do it. I'd say that if you can get a killer deal on one, buy it.

Re: 2007 Hyundai Tiburon
Having owned a Hyundai for five years with zero problems I cannot say anything against them at all.
While you do your research I recommend you look at the maintenance intervals for the vehicle. If you take that into account a GM alternative can be very competitive. G6 coupe would be a good alternative to cross shop it against. Mustang with V-6 would be one to consider as well.

Re: 2007 Hyundai Tiburon
I think I liked to old Tiburons a lot more, well at least the front end. That one looks too cluttered and Mercury Couger like. But I have heard good things about them. Are you considering any other cars?
