Pontiac Verve

Pontiac could use a competitor to the Mini, Fiat 500, and Toyota's iQ so here's my answer, the Pontiac Verve. Something small, affordable, and fun. (I hope!)

Certainly not (sorry TorRed, you can't outdo a Fiat 500), but better than anything else in class. GM should build one ASAP rather than try refit a Matiz into a Chevrolet Beat.

Why did you use the name Verve when it has been used already as the Ford Verve, the concept of the new & coming Fiesta??

G1 or something else would have been better, I suppose.
Though I highly dislike Pontiac getting the G3 as it is & Pontiac getting/having a car in it's line up smaller than a compact-sized car. I also believe that all Pontiac's should be RWD/AWD.

Good work as usual. Though this should be under another GM brand, not Pontiac.

Not my cup of tea, but good drawing of course. I mainly don't dig the rear and the bulging wheel. I like the name, goes well with Wave (G3 in Canada) and Vibe.

I agree, the 500 is a fantastic car and too bad it's not imported here but when and IF GM makes it through this mess it would be very exciting for them to truely develop a real Mini fighter. Something with style and substance. As for the "Verve" name, it just came to me because I wanted something that started with a 'V' to go alongside the Vibe.

I'm not quite digging this one. The front end seems truncated. I feel like the entire greenhouse needs to be moved back by 6-8 inches if not slightly more. The size of the wheels are also throwing me off. They are too small compared to the size of the body and the greenhouse. They appear to be 15-inchers.

In all, I guess that the vehicle feels more budget than sport. Don't get me wrong though, I think that Pontiac can do well with a subcompact in competition with the MINI.

But as usual, impeccable drawing!
