Why is the WYSIWYG editor option gone?

Re: WYSIWYG Editor?

I've noticed this too - so what's up? It's a little weird to have to edit with the VBulletin code instead of the bold, italics, smileys, etc. displayed on the screen.

Re: WYSIWYG Editor?

I believe it was shut off because it does not work with FireFox 3. Personally I got to several other vBulletin forums and none of them have it on either...

Damn Firefox 3 and vBulletin!

Could it be off as a default and allow those of us who don't use FF3 to switch it on?

I don't post many other places, but digitalcorvettes.com uses "vBadvanced CMPS v2.2.1 (vB 3.6)" and does not have the "quick reply" button at the bottom of the thread (you have to hit the reply button), but their smileys do work.

I agree. I do not use Firefox either nor will I ever....

I am willing to bet more people here do not use FireFox then do...
Do we not count?
We lost our Spellchecker as well...
