Why can't I post a thread in The Snake Pit?

Right when I thought I would be an ideal candidate for a Moderator there, I go to post a thread about John Edwards and his debased activities, and WHAM! I find out I've been banned from posting there.
All I ask is: How come?

no one can start a thread there. A moderator has to move a thread into it.

What does that have to do about cars? Nothing.

What part of no politics don't you understand.

I'm getting real sick of politics anyways.

AS I've been told now politics are accepted again on a limited basis, provided it doesn't get out of hand...and it has some relation to the auto industry.

I suggest if anyone has questions regarding the Snake Pit, I would suggest contacting NSAP as he makes the call in regards to the Snake Pit and how it's handled.

It has nothing to do with the politics of cars. Maybe if we were talking about what kind of car he was using to have his affair in maybe.

He is just using a big stick to stir with .

Who, John Edwards? I'm not sure I would call it "stirring".
