Posting bug?

Currently running Firefox 3.0b5.

Yes, I know it's beta.

When responding to a post, the post 'window' is behaving oddly. The page appears to 'load' twice. You can edit quoted text, etc. when it's on the 'first' load, but then it will blink over to the 'second' load. When it does this, the cursor stays wherever it is. You cannot click elsewhere in the window to move it, and you cannot block out text to delete it.

Beta issue? Or Firefox issue? I am unsure.

I am having the same problem in Ubuntu 8.04, which uses Firefox 3.0 Beta. I think its the Bets issue since 2.0 still works fine in Vista.

There are plenty of good browsers to use on Ubuntu that blend well with the Gnome theme, I suggest either Midori or Epiphany.
Konqueror is great, but doesn't blend well with Gnome.
