New Mod??

I came on tonight and noticed on the front page that the Camaro SS was spotted. As I Checked out the video, I noticed that the thread was started by a new Moderator- dascrow. Who is this and when did he/she arrive? How did this person get to be a Mod so quickly?

Re: New Mod??

I wish they'd at least introduce themselves! Maybe I just missed the thread, but I'm on here all the time and find it difficult to believe I didn't see it.

That he is a Toyota fan?

Branden posted it in this thread: Wow, new layout. I like it.

All of the staff is remaining, even Branden. Everyone is staying in the same staff positions, but I have also taken an Editor position with AutoForums.

There will not be any major changes. AutoForums can provide the resources that GMI needs to really thrive, but the same people will be running the daily operation of the site. The new admins are here, for the most part, to provide us with support on the technical side.

Re: New Mod??

^^I was wondering the same thing about Dascrow. And I had no idea GMI was bought out either. Hopefully Branden made out well--he (and others???) created a hell of a site.

Re: New Mod??

Wow, I never saw that before. Thanks Nsap.

Sad to see we're moving towards the big time. It's good, but sad.

Maybe you could get these new Mods together and have a "welcoming" thread? Something to kinda let us get to know these guys would be nice- seeing how we're married to them now!!

Re: New Mod??

I don't like having a Toyota lover as a moderator, it is a conflict of interest.

That was a little inappropriate. He isn't here to discuss vehicles, he is here to help us with technical issues. He played a HUGE rule, well, I think he did it all...of the recent site redesign.

Not that it matters, but we don't select even normal staff members based on their favoritism of GM.
