Need help! Can't log in!

Right now, I'm using the computer at my parent's house.

Everytime I try to log on to GMi on my computer at my apartment, I get this message in a VBulletin Message window:

Please excuse our dust
We are performing a server migration. We expect everything to be fully operational at 6 pm EST.

I can go onto my usual sites just fine, but I can't get onto GMi.

Any suggestions?? Please try to email me (see profile for address).

Any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Re: Need help! Can't log in!

Your computer may have some software on it that is preventing it from picking up the new DNS number. A reboot could help, but so could removing any "internet accelerator" software you may have installed.

Those are my only guesses.

Re: Need help! Can't log in!

I can't get to GMI at all from home unless I use a proxy. My ISP doesn't recognize the new DNS number for this site.

Re: Need help! Can't log in!

I have the same problem. Desktop at home -> dust message. Laptop at school -> works fine.

Possibly my router? ISP?

Now that the DNS has been mentioned I can't remember if I successfully logged in with laptop through my router.

Was just about to post a thread on this too!

I can't get on from my house anymore either. I can get on at work and from my mom's computer...Not running any software like the ones dascrow suggested either, and have restarted several times since I started not being able to...

Re: Need help! Can't log in!

Ok, I tried a ton of stuff to try to get on the site and still no luck. I tried updating my web browser, installing a new web browser, etc and still no go.

This is really starting to get to me as I really enjoy being here. If I still can't find a way to get on here on my computer, I might only log-on once or twice a month using my parents computers....if I'm lucky.

So, if there's anyone, or anyone knows someone, that is computer savy, please email me: mpkent@embarqmail.com

Re: Need help! Can't log in!

Judgeing by the fact we have had record traffic since the change..I think most people can get to the site fine. Not sure what to say...

Re: Need help! Can't log in!

I think the ISP's are confuzzled or something and don't know where to go. I can't get connect from my house either. School's fine, work's fine, friend's house's fine...anywhere but home. It's kinda disappointing. Most likely this Friday will be the last day I'll be on GMi for a while.

Still can't get on from home. I have to use ghostingweb.com or something similar in order to get to the site.

Re: Need help! Can't log in!

I'm on the site through ghostingweb.com right now...it's pretty unstable, keeps giving me error messages and stuff. It also takes a little longer to load the page.
