Does GMI Support John McCain?
I'm shocked that GMI staff did not delete the "Obama to Sponsor Toyota..." thread as soon as they saw my second post showing it to clearly be a lie being used as internet propaganda to smear Obama.
And then how do the ongoing comments in that thread comply with the rules against politics of this site? ![]() |

Re: Does GMI Support John McCain?
Well it appears that the thread ended up in the Snake Pit anyway, so I don't particularly see a problem with it. Had it been in a more legitimate forum, we should have moved it to the Snake Pit or deleted it entirely.
We discourage the discussion of politics on GMI, we don't ban them. So no, that did not go against a "no politics" rule. We're not fools, we know it is impossible to keep politics off of this site. Quote:
It does not matter what action we would have taken, it would have been the wrong one to some group of members. We cannot please everyone, nor will we try. I'd suggest to anyone that cannot take the "political climate" of the site to avoid political threads in entirety as there is nothing the staff can do to change that. The thread is locked now. It was not too productive.... |
