Do Not Lose Your Password

Back in THE GOOD OLD DAYS, I was LAMRONH.

Somehow I got ejected from the GMI system about a week ago. I have sent many messages, and I have tried the automated "send password" system at least a dozen times.

Never ever have I gotten a new password. Or anything resembling one.

The system does not work.

If you lose your password and you don't have an admin for a bud, you can just start over as I have done.

Consider yourselves warned!

Re: Do Not Lose Your Password

I have used the Send me My Password option a few times.

Never a problem...

I'm glad it worked for you.

I liked the old LAMRONH better.

What vintage Impala does this one drive?

yeah... check that. More than once I have found password "reminders" in my spam box. Google does not like the GMI.

Re: Do Not Lose Your Password

This guy is a grump. If he keeps this up, he's gonna get banned. Bashing GMI is grounds for immediate dismissal. I liked the original LAMRONH...

Re: Do Not Lose Your Password

If you have AOL, that was probably the problem. The messageboard that I mod, and also my rescue group has lots of trouble sending people info or reminders if they have an AOL address. My rescue group in particular has problems......it is a non-profit organization with our own domain and AOL rejects our emails quite often. We get lots of irate potential adopters who think we arent responding on purpose, when really it is their email provider.

Re: Do Not Lose Your Password

There is something with AOL. It works fine on our end. Please check your spam filter, because AOL is a major pain at times.

Re: Do Not Lose Your Password

Maybe someone got into your account, changed your password (hence you needing to recover the password), and changed your account email address (hence you not getting the password email).

Re: Do Not Lose Your Password

Check you AOL Spam filter.

Or... give one of the admins a non AOL email address and have him send you a new password again.
