Character Counts

Can we get those?
What I am asking about is this...
The little box at the bottom of our replies and PMs.
This will show us how many characters we have left to use in that PM or post.
Too many times I have had to trim off what I already wrote down due to the fact I had too many words in the post/PM.

EDIT: opps...I forgot to say Thank you!

Seeing as I don't have any, I'm against character counting.

You have plenty of 'character'...stop knocking yourself down.
In fact you ARE a Character at times here.
Not a thing wrong with that either. Makes the forum that much more enjoyable...

Re: Character Counts

When I saw the thread title I thought you meant "Character" of a different type/context.

Re: Character Counts

From looking at the title I suppose it does seem to mean something totally different...hehe!

Kinda hard to 'gauge' though in that respect.

Then again there is a 'Brightness Knob' on TV sets and that doesn't work now does it...?

Well, not sure if I agree, but I appreciate that OD. My theory is that doesn't matter if people are laughing with me, or at me, as long as they're amused.

Character DOES count.

One character I like is Bugs Bunny.
Elmer Fudd, too. He's definitely my second amendment guy.
I guess Buggs would be my first amendment guy, eh?

So goes the character discussion. More on character: http://looneytunes.warnerbros.com/st...ugs_story.html

LOL!

Sure was glad to see other posting in here about that...he he. I read it and thought, wow, this could be an interesting discussion. Just as I was about to click on the thread, I noticed which forum it is in ... 'Site Feedback and Support' ... and quickly realized I wasn't going to be reading about what I thought I was going to be reading about.

Get that?

LOL!
