Nah, I reckon my old german teacher would smack my head for trying to serve him something similar (might be wrong of course. After all I did get a very shaky B from him), however, what really gets me is the Gunther voice that is used for uttering that phrase.

Reminds me a little of "Ich fahre ein Trabant", which isn't such a good thing.
If the Euro bailout doesn't work out, at least it will be easy to change the tagline to: "Wir müssen in unseren Autos jetzt leben"!![]()
Ah, mystery solved by looking up an old thread. So it's a play on "Wir lieben Autos". And actually "We live and breathe cars" does make sense to me now.
