Wilmington making Opel GT's

Wilmington has begun to make Opel GT's and plan to ramp up over the next month. Bad news is that for every Opel made there will be one less Saturn Sky made.

Re: Wilmington making Opel GT's

The opel gts tho are only made with the 2.0 di turbo, the equal to the sol gxp and sky redline. Hmm no base version, they must not be kidding around. Hmm i would like to see production pics too, i was on opels site the other day and while it is essentially a saturn sky redline, the opel badge on it kicks a's.

Sweet. I wonder if someone in the US or Canada could order an Opel GT instead of the Sky? I don't see why not. The badge is the only difference, right?

Eine Bier? Bitte!

I'd like to see the sky with that lightning bolt-thingy badge.

I saw it at the auto show 2 weeks ago... I like it in black! This car isn't as exciting as the last GT, but it still makes a very nice Opel.

What it looks different than this?

Not too hard when that looks a lot like a Corvette of the same era. BTW I did take that picture at a dealer here in Europe.

Re: Wilmington making Opel GT's

Oops, I was mistaken... I actually meant this, which I realise now wasn't called GT. It's the Opel Speedster:

When I was young, the GT was my first dream car. Unfortunalty I had never driven one.

Let's just say with the Saturn Sky also being sold as the Opel GT in Europe, all it needs is a Holden version to be considered a world car. And the Holden version of the Sky is likely coming to Australia sometime later this year.

Delaware cars are coming to OZ!

Ok Aussies send you Zetas here, we will be sending our Kappas there! What side do you want the steering wheel on?
