Nah just Lincolns, and a system on ~1957 GM cars. The GM system was extremely unreliable. The Lincoln system, not exactly reliable either. The Citroen system though tends to be pretty good but once the accumulators go out of spec you have issues. Few cars have air shocks all around, the two above are all that come to mind at the moment. But Citroens and a few Mercs have the hydropneumatic all around.

Sounds good, my local mechanic i take all work to when i can't do it on my own said something about the sub frame rails rotting out on them...

Also the electronic dash has me worried.... Did they go often in these cars? I don't wanna pay 1000 bucks to fix it later on. I know i asked about it before but it's a nice rig but when it goes it out, it's puts me in the poor house lol

I know GM's digital dashes weren't very reliable in the 80s, but I think they improved by '93. Plus, every junkyard I've visited is FULL of those cars. Even if it does fail, you shouldn't have any trouble finding a used cluster for under $50.

Learned something new today!

I'm afraid I don't speak Ford or Citroen! Proof you can teach an old dog new tricks!

if the Asian imports are so "perfect", why do their dealers have such large service & parts departments???

What was wrong with it (since you refer to it as "DONE")?

Re: Updated!!Buying a 93 olds eighty eight royale, need help!

we had an 89 Royale 88. No problems until it was about 9 or 10 years old. The tranny got kinda rough, my brother thinks its because he did a neutral drop trying to drag race a friend. it wouldnt down shift outta 4th until he got home, shut it off and it turned it back on.
