Trip computer for GM Daewoo cars

I wonder why can't GM Daewoo make such an onboard trip computer unit capable of displaying average fuel consumption when most European cars offer it? Hey, even Russian garage firm is making computer units that nicely sit in place of built-in clock of many GM Daewoo cars, including Nubira/Lacetti/Optra!

The unit has the following modes:
1. Date and time
2. Total running distance (km), total fuel consumption (L)
3. Temperature (˚C), Battery charge (V)
4. Tachometer (RPM), fuel consumption (L/h)
5. Speed (km/h), fuel consumtion (L/100km)

Mode 4
