Opel Astra Replacement Who Has Any News

Does anyone here know when Opel is set to replace the Astra? I've been tearing my hair out trying to find out when this was going to happen and get the latest skinny on powertrains vehicle line-ups and/or design direction. I can't seem to find anything. I'm guessing the new model would debut after the 09' Vectra. So why haven't I seen anything??? Someone here a while back posted a magazine ad with a picture of what looked to be a successor to the current Astra for 2010 or 11. But I can't find that thread. So if any of our international GMiers no more than what I do please let me know.

I think you're probably better off waiting.

No leaks/no coverage/nothing even in Europe - it is quite a way off, anyway.
