Olds Intrigue in Batman Begins?

I could have sworn I saw the front end of a black Oldsmobile Intrigue in Batman Begins. It's during the scene where young Bruce Wayne is in his room after the funeral, and the atendees were leaving in their cars, camera POV from his window down into the court yard. Couldn't have lasted more than 1 and a half seconds. Deny/confirm?

Bruce Wayne drove a Chevrolet Citation in the Michael Keaton Batman movie.

That was Vicki Vale's car, not Bruce's.

Re: Olds Intrigue in Batman Begins?

Sorry...it's been years since I saw the movie. But Bruce Wayne drove an equally pedestrian vehicle.

Katie Holmes's DA character apparently doesn't make much dough - she had to drive the same teal Taurus for 7 years.

I don't know for the ones from the movies but from the old 1966 tv series with Adam West as Batman, it was a 1955 Lincoln Futura dream-car customized by Georges Barris who saved it from the crusher.

I'm pretty sure that was an Aurora in funeral scene. I also picked out a seville in there to.

I don't know what the "Tumbler" was based on, but it had a Chevy V8 in it, thats why it sounded so **************** nice

Re: Olds Intrigue in Batman Begins?

I remember seeing a lot of pre-2000 GM vehicles in the original spy shots for the movie like a year ago or more.

The Tumbler was actually a totally custom built job..."truck axle" for the rear, custom work for the front suspension. Super Swampers in the rear, and F1 like racing tires up front.

0-60 in 5 seconds or so in the working models...340 hp V8. I think it's a crate motor. No fancy LS series here.

Also, for all things "batty" on film...check out the highly reliable, and rather influential...

The "Tumbler" was a model after someone messed around with airplane and tank parts, or something like that, PM did an article on it. As was said already, the real-sized version of it did have a Chevy small block, which I thought was cool. Supposedly the thing weighs over 2 and a half tons, and still hits 0-60 in like 5.5 seconds. Obviously the jet engine was just for show.
