New Isuzu i280 and i350

Not sure what the point of these are but..

The i-280 and i-350 are variants of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, but J. Terry Maloney, president of Isuzu Motors America says "make no mistake: this truck has Isuzu in its soul."

Isuzu soul means that it's just as closely related to a Ascender as it is a Envoy lol.

If by "this truck has Isuzu in its soul" he means "this truck has an Isuzu logo on the grill" then he's right but other than that it's a chevy. This is by far the most blatient re-badge I've ever seen. From 50ft I couldn't tell the difference.

It does have Isuzu soul. The trucks were designed by Isuzu for GM.

It still breaks my heart for GM to let Isuzu wither on the vine like they have.

GM owns just a share in this worthless company. It's Isuzu who got them in this position.

Heh. Wasn't Isuzu renown for charging too much for its products?

Worthless company ah! It's Isuzu that provides Holden with the top selling Rodeo range of Utes. Without them Holden would lose its number one place in the Work Horse race to Toyota, especially now they have the new Hi-Lux range out here.

Re: New Isuzu i280 and i350

Doesn't Isuzu have a great lineup of diesels? I think this is part of the reason for GM having stake. Isuzu just needs to start getting some unique product, starting with diesels, they could be the only automaker to have a diesel in a compact pickup and it could probably top 300lb-ft easily
