Re: New Astra TwinTop (CoupeCabrio)
Very nice. I like it.
And its a hard-top too! Even better. Beats canvas anyday.I've been waiting for some pics of the next Astra convertable. It's been the highest selling convertable on the Australian market for the last few years. ![]() |

Re: New Astra TwinTop (CoupeCabrio)
The same problem as with most compact cabriocoupes - the rear is too long and heavy compared with the front. Aside from that, a very nice looking car (much nicer than the Megane, on par with 307 I think).

Re: New Astra TwinTop (CoupeCabrio)
If you are trying to imply that the technology from the SSR was used here, you're wrong, unfortunately. The folding tops for Tigra and Astra TwinTop are made by the French company Heuliez, which specializes in those (they do 206 too). Opel just sourced the complete thing.

Re: New Astra TwinTop (CoupeCabrio)
Wow! That looks great! I really like the rear slope of the roof, and the trunk and rear bumper flow very nicely! Great job Opel!
