Last Chance! $5000 off 2006 Saab 9-2X's GM discount

Say what you will about the "Saabaru", but that's an awesome deal. If you buy the base model with few options it would be a steal.

That's COBALT prices. Heck, that's AVEO prices. For an all-wheel drive road gripper with Saab styling and "class".

2.5i
MSRP:$22,990-$26,950
Invoice:$21,841-$25,603

Wow - what kinda final numbers are we looking at? All 9-2x's are turbo'd, yes?

What a deal! I think the car was actually a decent buy at MSRP, but this makes it a steal. I'd buy one no problem at that price! Wish Saab sold that in Europe.

Cool, but I would never buy a Lame Duck car, it gives me anxiety.

That is a good deal, I always figured my next car would be a 9-3. I would consider this though if I were in the market.

Someone picked one up for $17k from an MSRP of $26k, I think Slade (?) posted it on TrollhattanSaab.net (his Saab blog).

Only if you have a habit of keeping cars less than 3 years... the resale drop will kill you. But if you're in it for the long haul, this might be a great deal.

Best thing about it is the Subaru aftermarket should be mostly open to you, and its one of their better selling cars (Impreza).

I would hesitate if it was selling in such low numbers and a unique model, but its basically just a much nicer looking Subaru (my opinion).

Might be hard finding one still in stock with a close to base sticker tho.

Like 16K or something before taxes. The base model is not turbo'd its a Subaru boxer engine.

All Subarus have All-Wheel-Drive.

I test drove this non-turbo model a year ago and it GRIPS the corners tight!

I know. I was going to write a long post on my opinion about the subject but I got lazy and just wrote "I don't like turbos."

I never liked the small pause before the power. It always bothered me..

There are way around the turbo lag... with a manual transmission it's easy.
